Who are you, and what do you do?

My name is Jakob Owens and I’m a video director. I direct everything from Music Videos, to short films, to commercials etc. I’m also a video editor and edit all type of different videos.

What forms of media have influenced you the most?

Movies have influenced me the most. Growing up watching movies I always wanted to make movies myself and to this day they still inspire me the most over any visual medium.

What hardware / software do you use?

I use Adobe Premiere Pro to complete all my editing work.

What would be your dream creative setup?

For me, unlike a lot of people, I create at my desk on my computer. A lot of people have to go somewhere out of their house like a coffee shop or something like that to get away and get creative. I also happen to come up with a lot of my ideas when randomly driving in the car as well.
