Who are you, and what do you do?

I make things on the Internet. Books, apps, side projects, blogs, you name it. I’m kind of like the guy who tinkers in his garage all day, except I do it online.

What forms of media have influenced you the most?

I love books, both fiction (Philip K. Dick, Isaac Asimov, etc.) and non-fiction (Thinking Fast And Slow, Freakonomics, etc.). But I’d say the form of media that has influenced me the most if definitely the Internet. From communities like Hacker News and Reddit to Twitter or blogs, I think that it’s definitely what has contributed the most to my own personal culture.

What hardware / software do you use?

I use a MacBook Pro, but apart from that I’m not too attached to any specific piece of hardware. In fact, I recently stopped using a mouse altogether, which means I’m now down to the laptop as the only thing I need to work.

As far as software go, I spend 99% of my time in Sublime Text and Chrome, filling in the blanks with Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, or other apps as needed.

What would be your dream creative setup?

For some reason environment doesn’t seem to matter too much for me. As long as I can have a table and be left alone for thirty minutes, I’m pretty much able to work anywhere.
