Jason Terry

Who are you, and what do you do?

My name is Jason Terry and I’m the CEO of Live Vicarious. I am someone that loves challenges, fun, bacon, music, sports, travels, friends, family and working out.  I live under the motto of “Work Hard, Play Hard.” I believe that there is too much in this world to experience to play it safe.  That’s how Live Vicarious was born. There are so many things to witness that it’s physically impossible to see it all. So why not bring it to you.

What forms of media have influenced you the most?

That’s tough because I can point to each medium in having an affect on me. There is nothing like reading a great book. You get lost in another world, lose track of time, and live in your imagination from a great book. However I can say the same for music. Music touches my soul in a way nothing else can and since there are so many different genres of music, each one is amazing in its own way. While I love every type of music, EDM plays the most on my headphones.

What hardware / software do you use?

I love technology because it can make a person’s life much more efficient. I use both a PC and Mac. I have a PC desktop, MacBook Air, iPad, and iPhone. I love Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, Google Calendar, Google Business Apps, Xero, and Evernotes. I also use Tweetdeck and Hootsuite for social media. I can’t imagine working without these tools.

What would be your dream creative setup?

Anywhere with my whole team with our computers and internet. I love working with my team and how we ping ideas off each other. We have a goal to make Live Vicarious successful and we love it. Ideally we would be someplace that served food and drinks, has a view, and other entrepreneurs working hard on their startups. That collective aggressive will to do something that no one thinks is possible is something that is just addicting.
